Some more Very British Civil War figures are done for wargaming the fictional 1930s conflict.
Fighting along dealogical rivals the Free Welsh Churches Fusilliers (https://clarkythecruel.wordpress.com/2011/07/31/theyll-be-welcome-in-the-hillsides-of-everton-bidston/) are these game felows of the ultra-Welsh nationalists FWA. Two platoons of machien gun armed firebrands serve in the Liverpool Free State Forces alongside their fellow Welshmen in a joint battalion. The battalion is part of a larger formation including Scots and irish (see https://clarkythecruel.wordpress.com/2010/08/29/wild-geese-celtic-tigers/for more info.)
For scale I’ve shot these photos next to my internet ‘dongle.’
The figures are 15mm German Afrika Corps from Peter Pig but manage to capture the look of FWA uniforms from their 1960s paramiliary postering and are sufficently 30s to fit in the Very British Civil War.
