Manors of Cheshire c 530ad

CLANS AND THEIR MANORS

This is some prospective clans for a cheshire campaign based around a boy king campaign and using the ancestor tables elsewhere on the blog.

Grandfathers of Clans with the larger share of manors will feature more than once and a father holding one or more manors would also be possible.

Patriarch is the Clan leader on age and experience, where one is not mentioned PC may be Clan leader. No additional wealth comes from being Patriarch but one has a responsibility for the general clan welfare.

SKILLS etc;

If father died 485 or after (i.e is a Sir – you are treated as a son of a Knight either Vassal or Banneret depending on whether your father held lands, a title or is a direct employee of the Dux.)

If your father died before 485 you are the son of a family chieftain or if a Banneret then a Clan Chieftain.

If the son of an officer you get the appropriate skills.

One can choose to be the son of a Warrior or Mercenary Knight bypassing the clans. Don’t roll for grandfather (he is of no note) and just role for your father on the tables.
